Cornerstone Counsel is pleased to announce that its Founder and Managing Partner, Ceyhun Pehlivan, has contributed to the Week of Integrity 2026 – Book of Essays, an international initiative led by ICC Netherlands.
The Week of Integrity is an annual multi-stakeholder initiative that brings together contributions from business leaders, academics, policymakers and compliance professionals to explore the role of integrity, ethics and responsible leadership in an increasingly digital world.
This year’s edition focuses on the theme “Leading with Integrity in a Digital Age”, examining how organisations can ensure that technological innovation remains guided by ethical principles and human values.
Ceyhun’s contribution, entitled “Integrity in the Digital Age: The Challenge of Artificial Intelligence,” explores one of the defining governance questions of our time: how organisations can preserve integrity as AI becomes increasingly embedded in business decision-making.
The essay argues that the central challenge is not whether AI can make better decisions than humans, but whether organisations can continue to safeguard transparency, accountability and independent judgement in an increasingly algorithm-driven environment. While AI can undoubtedly support decision-making, integrity ultimately remains a human responsibility.
ICC Netherlands recently highlighted the contribution as part of its introduction to the Week of Integrity 2026, noting that innovation must continue to be guided by values and that human judgement should remain at the centre of decision-making.
Cornerstone Counsel is honoured to contribute to this important international initiative and to the broader discussion on AI governance, ethics and responsible innovation.
