Cornerstone Counsel is pleased to announce that its Founder and Managing Partner, Ceyhun Pehlivan, has joined the European Law Institute (ELI) as a Fellow, adding this role to his existing professional and academic activities.
The European Law Institute brings together academics, legal practitioners, judges and other legal professionals from across Europe and beyond, with the aim of contributing to the development and improvement of European law.
As an ELI Fellow, Ceyhun will contribute to the Institute’s activities and projects and engage with its wider European community of academics, practitioners and other legal professionals. He is particularly pleased to have the opportunity to work alongside Professor Teresa Rodríguez de las Heras Ballell, a professor and scholar whose work he has long admired.
Ceyhun will also become part of the ELI Spanish Hub, co-chaired by María Lubomira Kubica and Albert Ruda González, contributing to the Institute’s activities and engagement in Spain.
This new role complements Ceyhun’s work as a practising lawyer and his broader academic activities, including his roles as Adjunct Professor and Academic Director at IE Law School. It also reflects his longstanding engagement with the development of European law, particularly in the fields of technology, data protection, artificial intelligence and digital regulation.
Ceyhun looks forward to contributing to ELI’s work and to becoming more actively involved in its activities and projects in the years ahead.
